These geese are no fools. They are headed due south.
Well, it is pretty. And it does cover up all the muddy, brown matted grass and delay spring clean up a little longer. (Hey! That means there's no excuse for missing Maple Weekend! Don't forget!)
And it's just as fun to play in today as it was in December!
Besides, you can have this kind of S'mores in any weather! :)
Ingredients:
- Break the graham cracker into two squares.
- Place a square of Easter Chocolate on one half.
- Top with your favorite peep (or peep substitute, in this case)
- Microwave on high for 10-15 seconds.
- Top with the other cracker half.
- Enjoy!
(Even a toddler can do it!)
Note: The marshmallow peeps will expand like little balloons in the microwave. Be prepared for gales of laughter as the kids watch!
Oh...and keep some warm soapy water nearby...
FYI--I found a really cool Easter S'mores in a Jar recipe today that I really want to try! It looks like it would be really cute, and easy to make, too--stay tuned! :)
I've gained 10 pounds from reading these last two blog posts of yours. LOL It all looks yummy, but I've got a LOT of weight to lose. Sigh.
And is all that snow for real????? Wow. I am so jealous. We spend half the day outside under sunny skies and dark green lawns, birds chirping everywhere. Booooo-riiiing. I mean it. Sunshine all! the! time! gets quite dull.
And LOL about your comments on my blog. Dude, I moderate the comments not because I'm worried what people will say about me or my "charming" children (LOL), but because I keep getting some weird folks who use it to advertise. Like, I'll get a post: Check this out (blah blah blah). So, that's why.
I leave very long comments, don't I? Sheesh. ;D
Peace out & happy weekend,
Maria

LOL! Love the bunny s'mores! We've had actualy spring-like weather here in Colorado for the last week or so, but we're not fooled ~ I expect we'll get more snow, too, before it's all over. Which is OK. It IS fun!
